God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.

Friday December 30th, 2005

I'm back to work after having the stomach bug that seems to be going around. By last night I could spend more then 5 minutes out of the bathroom so I worked on a layout.

Our family portrait from Christmas. I'm ok with it but not thrilled. It needs something else but I'm not sure what. It is straight in real life even though it doesn't look like it here.

In about 30 days my son leaves for Walt Disney World. I can't believe how fast the time is going. I have a feeling I'm really going to miss him.

Hopefully I can save some money and manage to go see him at least once while he's in Florida. He is really looking forward to it. I hope it meets his expectations.

I love your layout too Jane...I don't think it's missing a thing! I like how you used the monogram letter on it's side. I wouldn't have thought to do that!!! Great job! I'm glad you're feeling better...and that you got to get some scrapping in!
