God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.

Wow it's Tuesday already. Happy Halloween to all that celebrate. We are having a snack day here at work so food around all day.

I took my mom to see Flag of our Fathers last night. She cried a little it really was a touching movie but if you don't know some of the story it's a little hard to follow. I think it touched her so much because my dad was a navy frogman, fore runner to the Navy Seals. He was in Tokyo Bay doing recon when the flag was raised on Iwo Jima. He heard about it 3 days later when he got back to the sub.

I can't imagine being in Japan during WWII and hiding out in the rocks and diving mapping land mines and obstacles...and knowing that in a month or two you might be back to blow it all up :( The things our fathers did during WWII are amazing.

And the things our service men and women are having to deal with today are just as amazing. God Bless all of our troops!
