God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.

Antique Cat

This is my picture for Thursday.

This cat sat on my grandmothers mantle for yrs and yrs. When she passed away in the late 60's it was the one thing I wanted. When you look on the bottom of it, it says 39 cents. It was recently appraised for $35.00 but I wouldn't trade it for a million dollars it reminds me of the times staying with her when I was little.

Camera: Sony DSLR-A100
Exposure: 0.1 sec (1/10)
Aperture: f/2.2
Focal Length: 50 mm
ISO Speed: 100

What a great story behind this photo. I have just a couple of things from my grandparents, that I too, wouldn't trade for a million dollars, either. Nice picture.
