God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.

Isn't this just to adorable I ordered it for Mikaela today!

I have a really probably stupid question but would love the answer maybe some of my 30 and less friends can answer for me.

Why in the world would do you drink to excess? I mean I can see occasionally 1 or 2 drinks and I do mean occasionally, of course not when pregnant or nursing no way. But, if you’re an adult and want 1 or 2 drinks fine I can understand it. But, why oh why do you drink 4 or even 5 drinks and get wasted? I will never for the life of me understand that!

Ok off of this! Can you tell I live in a college town?

Well Ripley met the famous Bandit last night….and lets just say that Ripley has learned that Bandit is not Tiger. Bandit does have claws and does know how to use them; I had to laugh Jake doesn’t care for Bandit, you know he’s not Tiger. But, last night when Bandit came in to the scraproom with Jake, Jake looked at him like I understand Ripley can be a little over whelming. I think Jake and Bandit may just make friends after a few days of having Ripley at the house. Don’t get me wrong Ripley is a sweety but she’s still got enough puppy in her that she can get over whelming to a 16 year old dog and a cat that doesn’t care much for dogs.

Tonight is Sloppy Joes and left-overs for dinner. I fixed steak, mac salad and carrots last night. So we will have the left over mac salad, sloppy joes or hot dogs and some kind of veggie. I still have left over hamburger and pizza in the frig. So I’ll be having left overs all weekend; but at least I won’t have to cook.

Can I complain about gas prices????? I went home last night and thought great I can get gas in the morning there are two places with gas at $2.99.9 so maybe it’s on it’s way down. I start into town this morning and it’s $3.09.9, $3.05.9 and finally one lone station still at $2.99.9. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate paying over $3.00 a gallon for gas and then the kids tell me in Columbus they are getting it for $2.87.9. Why does our gas in Athens continually stay the highest in all of Ohio.

Ok enough it’s hump day is everyone starting to look forward to the weekend? I need to run up to Hobby Lobby they have scrapbooks on sale this week; I need one for Kathy and also need a new one for my own use. I get to go scraping on Friday night and Sabrina’s shower is Saturday, looking forward to spending time with my girls.

Better get off of her and get busy.

God Bless,

Jane

I am glad I am not around that college atmosphere where everyone has to drink a lot. I wish I could go to hobby lobby this weekend. Unfortunately...we are down to one car right now and Hubby has to work in Newark on Saturday. Oh well...hope you can get through Wednesday. :)
