God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.

A picture of Jake and Bandit last night as you can see Jake still doesn't accept Bandit.

Bandit and Jake

I had such a great visit with Jerod last night. I forget how fun it is to sit and talk with your adult kids. We talked and talked and talked about everything and nothing. I’m so proud of Jerod he’s turned into a very special young man.

What I really enjoyed was watching my big scrappy son who normally doesn’t care for cats get attached to my scrappy feisty notches out of both ears cat. They formed a really special bond last night it was like they recognized the scrappy I can manage everything in each other. Here was this big ole tomcat curled up in this big man’s arm purring so loudly I could hear it in the kitchen and Jerod talking to him.

For the first time in ages and ages I didn’t do anything but fix dinner last night. I just sat and visited no Scrapbooking, no cross stitching and no reading just a nice long talk.

Jerod and Erin can’t wait for Sabrina to have Mikaela; Jerod said that Erin can’t wait to be called Aunt Erin and Jerod is pretty excited too. He was talking about getting to hold and love her. He said it was going to be so nice living close to them. He said that’s the one thing that may keep them from moving when their lease is up. They are really enjoying living close to Brian and Sabrina and the ability to share each other’s company. He said that when they took the dresser up last week they spent about 3 hours together, and that Erin and Sabrina really enjoy each other.

Erin is coming down tonight, when Jerod talked to her last night Ripley was laying at the door crying for Jerod. She said she couldn’t take another night of it. So tonight I get Erin and Jerod to visit with and we get to see how Bandit reacts to Ripley.

We visited with mom for a little last night she was so excited that Erin was coming down tonight. She enjoys visiting with Erin so much. She can’t wait for Jerod and Erin to get married she was asking Jerod all about the wedding last night. Like most men of course Jerod didn’t know much about the plans.

Well need to get to work…I promise not to Ramble so much with my next post. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Love ya all,

Jane

I am glad you had such a nice visit with Jerod last night. It's nice to hear of Jerod and Sabrina enjoying each other's company too.....10 years ago...I don't know if I would have ever heard such a thing from them. :)

I want to see a photo of Jerod and Bandit together! I am glad you had some good quality time with Jerod. And Erin is a sweetheart! She took a lot of interest in Madelyn when we met her 2 years ago.
