God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.

First of all I want to tell Von she has lots of hugs, prayers and love coming from me and that I know you will be fine and come through the surgery just great! I love you gal and I’ve got you in my prayers.

Now where to start I had a really busy weekend. I painted my mom’s kitchen ceiling on Saturday. Then I went home and did a couple loads of clothes and finally went through some of the paper work that always seems to pile up.

Sunday I went up and saw my beautiful, wonderful amazing granddaughter Mikaela. She is growing so fast. She is such a good baby she sleeps 5 or 6 hours at a time and night and is such a happy baby. The only time you hear much at all out of her is when she’s hungry or has a wet or dirty diaper. She hates to be wet as soon as she finishes she starts fussing. You put a dry diaper on her and she’s all smiles again.

Sabrina my daughter looks amazing for having just had a baby 3 weeks ago. She is getting so skinny. I think pregnancy is good for her! She goes back to the doctor on Tuesday and finds out just how much she has lost. But, she was 1 pound under her pre-pregnancy weight when she went to the hospital to deliver. When you consider she had a 9 lb 5 oz baby you know she’s lost at least 15 lbs and probably more then that.

We went out to eat for Sabrina’s birthday yesterday. We went to Cheesecake Factory, the food is always so great there and they give such huge portions. I had the Cashew Chicken, Sabrina had an Aloha Chicken Salad and Brian has some type of Chicken Pasta. Then for desert Sabrina has the pineapple upside down cake cheesecake, Brian had the Dulce Delache (sp) Cheesecake and I had an apple dumpling. YUMMMMMMYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today is back to work….I had my internet and telephone down most of the morning; but I’m back in business now. We start the opening of the quarter the end of this week. I can’t believe the summer is already gone. This year has just flown by, it seems like yesterday we were starting last yr. And here we are ready to start the 2007-08 school year. Before we know it Christmas will be here.

I also need to get my birthday cards out to my two older kids. Sabrina’s birthday is the 29th of August and Jerod’s is coming up the 6th of September. I also need to figure out when Erin’s Birthday is so I can put it on my calendar.

Well better get off of here…need to do some work and also some planning for our Disney trip in May of 2008.

Take care all,

Love Jane
