God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.

I forget what a small world the Scrapbooking world is. A friend of mine that I used to be on KNK with contacted me the other day. It was so nice talking to her. She is back with KNK and was telling me about the new kit. I may take a look at joining back up. It’s fun to meet back up with old friends. We hooked up through her seeing some of my new work on 2 Peas.

It seems like everyone in the scrapping world knows everyone else. I think that’s what makes this such a great craft/hobby. You meet some of the nicest people.

I finished paying for the Scrap Pink weekend today. The album project looks so awesome. I can’t wait to take the class with Jamie. She is such an amazing scrapper. If you are interested in the Scrap Pink Weekend in KY here is all the info.

HERE’S WHAT CREATING INSPIRATIONS HAS PLANNED FOR YOU!

Who benefits from ScrapPink:
Creating Inspirations along with Lincoln Trail Elementary joins nationwide ScrapPink weekend to benefit breast cancer research Sept 28-30. ScrapPink croppers will create layouts and projects celebrating the special women in their lives. Layouts created can be entered into a national contest for a variety of prizes. An auction will be held and 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation to find a cure for breast cancer through research, education, screening, and treatment. Creating Inspirations sees ScrapPink as much more than a fundraiser, as many of our friends and family members have been affected by breast cancer.

What your ScrapPink weekend includes:
-One-on-one scrapbooking with JAMIE HARPER (CK Hall of Famer)
-You will complete an entire album start to finish and all supplies will be included
-A goodie bag filled with products retailed at $75 (donated by Creating Inspirations)
-All food (snacks, meals, sodas)

What Creating Inspirations will have available for your use:
-Sizzix
-Cricut

-Meals & snacks & sodas

How do you register:
-Stop by Creating Inspirations (120 West Dixie) and give us your
non-refundable deposit of $50 no later than September 1st.
Total cost of weekend is $185. Remainder due by September 20th.

Feel free to give our staff a call at 270.982.5677 regarding questions.

*For out of town croppers, ask for a list of local hotels and we will be glad to assist you with lodging arrangements.

I am so looking forward to seeing Nancy and Vickie and Rebecca said that she is coming. I’m still trying to talk Deb into coming down and I sent Von the info. I would so love a mini LPS meet.

I miss not seeing my friends except once a year. I wish we all lived closer it would be so much fun.

Well I better close! I hope everyone is staying cool with the awful heat in the Midwest and staying safe from all the flooding.

God Bless,

Love,

Jane
