God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.

I had a wonderful week visiting with my beautiful daughter and granddaughter…but unfortunately Mikaela decided to share more then just her beautiful smile with me she also shared her cold. But, if it means the difference in my seeing my beautiful little sweet pea and not I’ll take the nasty cold.

I just can’t believe how fast babies grow. It seems like just yesterday she was born and she’s already grown like a weed. When she smiles even her eyes light up; she’s also working on figuring out how to get that thumb in her mouth. And I know everyone will say I’m crazy but the little stink pot can roll from her back to her side already.

Not much going on other then the wonderful visit, I’m swamped at work but that’s to be expected. And the new Fall TV shows are starting. And I love Kid Nation…if you get a chance to watch it I think you will enjoy it. It’s about 40 kids that have to get a town up and running. Unfortunately it’s down to 39 kids now; one decided he was to home sick but we are talking about the youngest child and he was only 8. I was really proud of them when they turned down a TV for 7 more potties  All 40 of them were having to share one porta potty. Any way enough about that…tonight the new Survivor starts and next week the rest of the new shows really take off.

Oh and I want to share a book a friend sent me…it was such an awesome RAK Sherrie thank you so much I am totally loving this book. The book is called Prints Charming it’s about some friends and how Scrapbooking brings them together. Very light reading, but it makes you feel good about life in the process and how wonderful friends are!

Thank you dear Sherrie I needed this reminder and how much my friends mean to me.

I’ll sign off for now. I hope everyone has had a safe and happy week.

God Bless,

Jane
