God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.

I never thought I would say I’m glad a weekend is over! It was a long weekend; I really appreciate all the support all of you have given me.

Tonight I get to spend some time with my sweet Mikaela. I get to spend this week with her I think she is so special. I love the way that she will look at you and grin when you talk to her.

Sabrina and Mikaela are spending a couple of days with me and visiting with family and friends. I can’t wait to spend time with them. Mikaela is growing so fast. It’s amazing how fast babies grow. As a parent I don’t think you notice it as much because you are so busy with trying to take care of the baby, working and all the parts of daily life. But, as a grandparent you can take the time to slow down and really notice.

I don’t have much time today but just wanted to say thank you again for all the kind words! I am really blessed to have such amazing friends.

Love and Hugs,

Jane

Jane, i think you are right about being a parent...you don't notice how quickly they've grown up until they are almost gone from the house. I was so anxious to get through each stage, I didn't notice how much they had grown till much later. Enjoy your time with Mikaela!
