God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.

Well the heat is still with us….this seems to be all anyone is talking about. We are expecting high 90’s again today. We made it to 100 for a short while yesterday. I can’t believe its September and we are still hitting this kind of temps.

I finally got brave last night and started on my acrylic Album; I’m making it about Mikaela and using Heidi Grace paper. I made the mistake of starting with my front page. So now I’m trying to build from the back to the front and using the front page as an overlay and looking through it. I think I’m happy with the back page. I’ve still got 2 more pages to do. I wish I had some Pink Staz-On Ink and I also wish I had some Stickles. Oh well, I’ll make do with what I have. I am making the album 8 x 10 and doing it landscape. I really hope it comes out nice. I love the way these albums look.

If you want to see some samples go to 2 Peas and do a search on acrylic; a ton of different albums will come up and they are all beautiful.

So what does everyone have planned for the weekend? Any one have any special scraping plans? Next Friday is the local crop, I am really looking forward to it I’ve not been out with the girls in several weeks. And then the last week in September is Scrap Pink.

Sabrina and Brian are supposed to be down this weekend. I may get to baby-sit Mikaela while they are at Michelle’s birthday party. Mikaela was a little fussy this week after being passed around last weekend. So if there are a lot of people at the party I will be baby sitting both Mikaela and Cortes.

I really should get back to work…I’ve got my programs balanced and now I’m working on verification. I would love to be home instead of at work but I think most people feel that way.

So any way! I’ll say good bye and wish everyone a happy and safe weekend.

Take care,

Jane

I know you will have fun with you granddaughter. As for my weekend...who knows...It is always different. I think Hubby and I will get to have lunch together with just Elijah. My MIL is watching the older two for a few hours (her idea!)
