God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.

Really short week at work; I work today, tomorrow I take mom to the doctor for her pre-surgery work up. Wednesday I work and Thursday is Thanksgiving. It seems like the time just moves faster and faster every year.

I’m trying to decide if I’m going to put up a tree and all that entails for Christmas this yr or just put out my Christmas Village and call it done. We never are home to enjoy the tree. Christmas we will go up to mom’s and open spend most of the day with her come home and have dinner and then the kids will all go home. I’m scheduled off but I’m seriously considering just taking a couple of the days so that I have more for this coming yr saved up.

It’s not the same when they are all grown up and have other families to spend the holidays with. I really miss the all day Christmases….and this will be the last year Sabrina and Brian come down because they don’t want Mikaela to have to spend her whole Christmas running from one house to the other. Sabrina said she would do Christmas at her house. I’m sure when Jerod and Erin start their family it will be the same.

Oh and did I tell you we have a June wedding coming up. I can’t wait I love Erin so much. I don’t imagine they will wait to long to start their family; they are both fast approaching the 30 mark. I think they will be awesome parents just like Sabrina and Brian.

Jerod is so cute with Mikaela he loves her to death and so does Erin. I can’t believe how fast she’s growing and she’s hitting all of her milestones at least a month early. And you don’t dare leave her alone for a second when she’s on her blanket or she will be off of it before you can even turn around. Mikaela loves to get a hold of Cortes and Bandit. Every time they get within her reach she grabs for them she seems to like the feel of their fur.

I did two layouts this weekend one of Mikaela and one of Bandit.

Love both of these! On the first layout I like the paper and flowers framing the photo. The second layout had great colors, cats are such funny animals.

Cute layouts Jane ... and yes it is sad to see our children grow up and start their own traditions of christmas in their own homes . Christmas doesn't seem the same without the little ones under foot all the time but they are such a joy when we do get to see them ...... enjoy them while you can :-)
