God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.

Yesterday I took the day off to take my mom to Lancaster to get her MRI. They told her it was an open MRI but when she got there is was a closed. Needless to say she is almost as claustrophobic as I am; not as bad but close. So needless to say it was a wasted trip for her to go to the doctor.

Since we were in Lancaster and she hadn’t done any shopping we found most of her Christmas stuff yesterday. She doesn’t buy much mostly something real small and then gives us each $100. This makes for a really nice Christmas in my book!

Today I got up and the phone started ringing it was one of my bosses telling me not to come in till 8:00 a.m. and I would still get to go home at 4:00 YEAH!!!!! They almost always let us off an hour early the day before Thanksgiving but since I was working 7:30 till 4:00 I just figured I would not get the benefit. But, nope she was a sweetie to me! So I got to come in at 8:00 I get an hour lunch instead of ½ hour and I get to leave at 4:00!

So I’m going home unloading the dishwasher making cranberry salad, getting the veggies cut up and making my stuffing. Letting it cool then stuffing the turkey and get it in my bag so tomorrow morning I can stick it in the oven bright and early. I would love to spend some time in my scrap room but I don’t think that’s going to happen.

A friend of mine sent me some tutorials she had on the CraftRobo and I’ve been playing with those there is so much to learn I can’t thank her enough! I also figured out by playing how to make a 12 inch border! I’m kind of proud of my self. I also cut this cute little Chinese take out box out. I think I’m going to use it for my kids Money for Christmas and cut it out of Basic Grey Christmas paper.

Well I better get off of here and get back to work. I’m glad for a nice slow day but I know the work will really kick up next week and won’t ease off again till this time next year.

I would like to wish my Family and Friends the safest and Happiest of Thanksgiving. To Wes and Jenna since I know you read Happy Anniversary.

Love to all,

Jane
