God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.

Wow the weather has been so crazy here. I showed you yesterday the quick dusting of snow we got. Later in the day it turned to freezing rain then rain then back to snow. Then it warmed up over night and we had hard hard rain. Then this morning it was cold but clear now we have major wind and are under a wind advisory and we have major snow falling. It doesn't look like we are going to get a whole lot of it but with the wind it's really blowing.

I'm going to get my dishwasher unloaded and a load of clothes started and then I'm heading to my scrap room. I still need to finish my altered item for this month at Life Preservers. Here are the 2 layouts I did yesterday wit the December kit. This is my last month as a DT member at Life Preservers. Kind of sad about it but I'm still an administrator over there. Love the girls and will stick around for a long time :)

So are you all ready for Santa Claus? I need to do a little more like get the Savings Bonds bought! They are going to be late getting out but that's ok. And I need to get the money out for the kids. I'll do that Friday when I get paid.

An update on Mr. Cortes isn't good news. He's not feeling any better and is totally exhausted. I really appreciate all the love and prayers, special hugs to all of you. I know it seems weird to be so upset over a dog to some people, but we truly are that upset. He is a member of the family in all ways.

I truly need to get off of here and get busy! On to laundry and dishwasher, have a great Sunday and God Bless each of you!

Love and hugs,

Jane

Beautiful layouts!

Yes, it is perfectly normal to feel that way about a dog. It is hard, they become your best friends.
