God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.

I'm going to try to start being better about updating my blog. Since I've been gone so long I should probably start with all the new stuff going on in my life.

First of all I now have three granddughters; the youngest Teagan Ann was born on March 17th. She is the best boy the only time she fusses is if she's hungry or needs a diaper change. She loves laying on the floor and watching everything going on around her. She absolutely adores Mikaela and will smile for her almost on command. She watches Mikaela any time she's around and kicks her feet.

Mikaela is in love with Teagan most of the time. Occasionally a little jealousy shows but not very often and speaking of Mikaela she is now a big girl. She's got an amazing vocabulary and to be hoenst reminds me of her Uncle Wes I think we could offer her $10 for a minute of quiet and she wouldn't last 2 seconds.

Hmmmm....Ok I don't think you know I now have 2 cats, Yes TWO! Bandid is my big boy he's about 3 years old and is black and white and Mikaela calls him cow because he's colored just like a holstein. Midnight is my gal, she's about 18 months to two years according to the vet she doesn't do much except sleep. The only time I see much action from her is at 5 in the morning when she decides to play.

On the scrapping front I'm now addicted to Copic Markers and Magnolia stamps. I'm having a blast doing cards, still scrapping some but the stamps and markers have taken my heart for the time being. I'm still learning all about the markders and how to shade and get the look I want. But, it's fun to play and see what looks right and what doesn't.

On the stamp front my friend Lisa has been helping me you can find her at Savvy n Sassy there is a great bunch of ladies on there to help you and they are so friendly. Lisa suggested I try Hammermill #80 card stock and it's wonderful with the copics. I had tried every type of card stock including some that I bought at our Unversity Art supply and it all bled. The Hammermill is awesome with the copics it doesn't bled and it blends beautifuly.

The best part of playing with the copics and cards is I've put a big dent in my scrap supply I've challenged my self to use nothing but my scraps including my bazzill scraps to do my cards.

Well I need to get off I'll post some pictures of my cards tonight for you to see. Hope everyone is doing well.

Your doing great with the copics!!!

Wanted to let you know, you probably already do, to use Momento Ink in Tuxedo black to use with your copics. They won't bleed out AND I use the cardstock from Walmart in the package of 250 for only $5...it works perfect!!!!! you'll find that in their printer paper section...it said CARDSTOCK in bold letters!
