Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.

"Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It's not something you learn in school. But, if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything."

This was a challenge from Ali Edward's new book to close your eyes and pull 6 scraps of Patterned Paper out of your scraps and cut it into squares and then take 3 pictures and cut them into squares and do a layout. You had to journal also. This was my take.
white Bazzill, Raven Bazzill, MM Phillidelphia Chip Board, MM black Paint, BG Wholy Cow Rub-On's, MM Gold Snaps, MM Brads and Photo Anchors, Junkitz, Chatterbox, Scenic Route, Basic Grey, Daisy D and I'm not sure what the pink and green paper is. May Arts Ribbon, CM Gold Pen
Journaling reads: Lightning was an old man of 10 when these were taken. What we didn't know at the time is that in less then 6 months we would lose him. That was 5 years ago and he is still deeply missed by the entire family.
When I opened my eyes and saw the pink and green paper I never dreamed I would be able to pull this off. But, I'm really happy with how it turned out.
