God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.

I've got a smile as wide as the state of Texas on my face. My oldest son, Jerod proposed to his girlfriend Erin last night. I'm so thrilled I just love Erin to death. She is such a sweet and loving girl. She has been wonderful for Jerod and she's such a part of our family already.

She is a teacher in Columbus city school and I just can't say enough good things about her. I'm just so happy. And I get to see Jerod, Erin, my grandpuppy Ripley, Sabrina, Brian and my grandpuppy Cortes all this weekend. Sounds like a great time to me. Now if I could just see Wes and Jenna I would be in heaven! But, with them living in MA that's not going to happen :(
