God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.

Well I'm back! Yesterday I kept Maya my god daughter all day. She's such a sweet heart I love her so much! She spent all day with Nana....we must of took 10 walks up and down the street. She's such a good girl she ate her lunch and went right down for her nap with no complaints. She helped me put clothes on the line and fold clothes she was so cute.

After she went home I went and picked up Bandit he's the cat that Stacia was going to have to take to the shelter because he was mean to all of her other cats. He stayed last night and seems happy here. I sure miss Tiger she was such an awesome cat but what can you do.

Jake still hasn't figured out that Bandit doesn't like him and can't understand why he won't make up to him.

Not much going on here....I've decided that if Wes comes to his senses and realizes he needs his family we will be here but I'm not going to send him any more money or gifts. Grandma has decided the same thing. And Jerod has totally washed his hands of him. It's sad because we were so close!

I talked to Jessica on line last night she's such a sweet heart and having a hard time of it right now! I wish there was something I could do for her. Also talked to Rachel and Christy...Christy is with Rachel this week while Jay is in the field. I guess Rach has a new puppy I can't wait for them to come home to see their new baby. And I really need to get up to Nelsonville and see Abbi and Emi!

I'll get to see McKenna on Saturday I can't wait to get a hold of that little doll she's so cute! I can't believe the way she's growing! It's unbelievable. Like a little weed. Saturday is Sabrina's baby shower, I'll get to see a lot of my kids...Mel doesn't get to come but Esther, Hollie and the rest that have grown up at my house. I saw Hollie into Walmart today! I forgot how much I miss seeing all of the girls. Oh and I ran in to Rose and caught up about Matt and we got talking about Jerod and her boys and football...we all had such a great time with those boys growing up together.

Oh and I spent a lot of the weekend doing up a big box of baby clothes that a friend of Sabrina's, Melanie sent to her. They mostly needed freshened up a few had some formula stains on them but soaking them in some Oyx took them right out. Lots of cute little clothes. I forget how little baby clothes are. I'm terrible I have 3 bags of stuff for Sabrina's shower and that doesn't include what I've already taken up to her. A high chair, gowns, onesies oh and the cutest little onesies that are Ohio University...Brian was saying that Mikaela had all this Ohio State stuff and no Ohio Universtiy stuff; now she has Ohio University stuff.

I did get the spare room all set up for Mikaela and for Sis and Brian to stay here...of course I'll have Jerod and Erin a lot this summer since Jerod is taking classes down here. He is so close to graduating I'm so proud of him; it's been such a struggle for him. It took him a while to figure out what he was going to do when he had to leave the Army that had been his life long dream and planned to make a career of it. But, Erin is a great lady, and I do mean lady she's awesome! I don't know how I was so lucky to have 2 such awesome in-laws and yes they aren't married yet but Erin is my daughter just the same. She's such a sweety don't know what I would do without her and Brian.

Well I better get off of here we have an awful storm going on and I'm afraid we might lose power.

I hope everyone had an Awesome Father's Day.

God Bless,

Love to all my LPS friends!!!

Oh and I forgot! I have another layout on Basic Grey's Gallery YEAH!

So glad you were able to get the clothes for Sabrina. I hope she can use them (I realize it will be a while for most of them, but at least she will have something) I am sorry about Wes.....he was my little brother. Wes..if you read this...I love you, but whatever is going on....well...I can't knock sense into you because...I don't know where you are. :)

I remember visiting you in Ohio about 2 years ago to attend Wes' high school graduation. I was amazed at all the friends (especially girls!) and family members that came to the party afterwards. What a popular guy!!!! It is that love that will someday bring him home, for at least a visit. 20 years together has to mean something. I hope all of you can get together and work this out. Thank God Sabrina, Brian, Jerod and Erin are so close and soon a new baby granddaughter will be arriving. That is something positive and wonderful to focus on. :-)
