God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.

Wooohooooo my friend Von made it through her surgery ok. Sore but improving daily so I’m very very happy.

Also we have been making plans and reservations for our May 2008 Disney trip. We are looking at the Wilderness Lodge Jr. Suites and one bed rooms at the Wildness Lodge DVC Resort. I need to talk to a friend of mine and see if she can get us any type of discount; since she’s a cast member. Then we will make our final call, right now we have a hold on 2 places till I talk with my friend.

If not we may opt for Saratoga Springs or Old Key West….we have even talked about one of the deluxe resorts. They are so big it’s no problem with the 4 of us sharing a room; still working out all of the details.

We will be down for the Flower and Garden festival I love going during this time it’s warm enough that you can wear shorts comfortably during the day but need slacks and a jacket in the evening. So a bowl of cheddar cheese soup from LeCelliar always tastes so yummy. And the flowers at Epcot are just amazing…I love taking pictures of all of them. I have so many ideas for pictures this trip since I have my DSLR.

I can see taking a bunch of pictures in frontier land and turning those sepia and doing layouts with lots of browns and gold’s. Oh and Fantasyland with lots of bright colors. And Madelyn will love the bright lights and colors of Fantasyland and with her vibrant red hair oh I can just imagine the layouts and pictures.

Can you tell I’m getting excited I have so much to look forward to in the next yr. September is Scrap Pink, Christmas with Mikaela and the rest of my family, April is the LPS crop in KY, March is CKC in St. Louis and then May is Disney. Sounds like I’m going to be a busy beaver. I also have all the other important stuff coming throughout the yr.

I’ve also found time to sit and read which I love to do so much. I just finished re-reading the whole Harry Potter series along with re-reading DaVinci Code and Angels and Daemons…I’m out of anything new to read. I need to make a trip to the library but it seems like I’m always so busy on Saturday mornings that I never make it in. Last night while I was finishing up Angels and Demons I stuck in the Exodus movie I know it’s an old movie but I still enjoy it almost as much as I do the book by Leon Uris.

I may just pull out my old worn copy of Winds of War and War and Remembrance tonight and start re-reading those. I know it’s bad to re-read but I just can’t sit in front of the TV I have to be doing something else besides that; On-line, reading, Scrapbooking, crocheting anything to keep my hands busy.

Well I guess I’ve rambled enough for today I do want to leave you with this layout from last night. The challenge was to use nothing but scraps of paper nothing bigger then a ½ sheet, along with a full sheet of card stock. You also had to use at least 2 different manufactures patterned paper and some of your alpha stash. I have Basic Grey and Junkitz patterned paper and a mix of letters from K and Company to some cut with the sixxiz.

The Disney fever is MY fault! I have been waiting and waiting for the 2008 rates and packages to become available and now they are! And I have been trying to get you and Jim fired up about Disney too! Today we should know where we are staying. I hope anyway!!!
