God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.

Well I suppose it’s that time of day I need to give everyone something to read. Not much going on today finishing up some stuff here at work. Getting ready for all the students to return on the 7th.

I’ve got a really cute Disney layout on my desk I’ve got to finish putting the title on it and it will be ready to post. It’s for a challenge I posted on Life Preservers. The challenge is to raid your toolbox and use something from it that you would find in a hardware store on your layout.

So what’s everyone up to? Anyone doing anything exciting? I’m going to try to get my house picked up tonight. I let Bandit in the house when I left this morning. I am hoping I don’t have a mess when I get home. He’s been really good but this will be the longest I’ve left him in the house by himself. He was out all night last night and with it being so cold I just couldn’t see making him stay out. So wish me luck!

Sabrina and Brian are coming down this weekend to do Mikaela’s 5 month pictures. I can’t believe the little pumpkin is 5 months already. If you sit her up she can stay sitting with no problem and if you put her on her belly she can get one leg up under her and push up on her arms but that’s all she can do. You can just see the drive in her eyes to figure out how to crawl or do something to get moving. She watches McKenna and see’s her getting around and wants to be on the move so badly. I have a feeling that she’s going to be a child that once she’s on the move never slows down. She acts like Sabrina did when she was little. And I once found Sabrina hanging from the door on my top kitchen cabinets yelling Mom….Mom…and Jerod coming to find me saying sissy needed help!

Ok I’m going to end this post with a couple of pictures of some of the building around Athens, I want to share them with my friend Sharon.

I can just see little Mikaela trying to get around! She is gonna be unstoppable, I'm sure!

PS I love that layout you used for your challenge!

Boy...I could just picture Sabrina hanging from a cabinet and Jerod just casually coming to say she needed help. LOL :D

Hi! Thanks for sharing these wonderful pictures. These are good shots of interesting buildings. As I've said before I love to look at old buildings. I need to go downtown and get some pictures of ours.
