God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.

Wow what a weekend…I did get some digital scrapping done Friday night as you can see….but do I have a story to tell.

Sabrina and I were going to Columbus to hunt for dresses for Jerod’s wedding. Mikaela got fussing so we decided we would stop in Lancaster at Hobby Lobby since they have a really clean bathroom and we could look while she ate her snack. Everything was going fine we get back in the car and it won’t start! It just clicks and then makes a really funny sound!

So the saga begins…luckly we were in Lancaster where my dealership is; so I called the dealership and they sent down their tow truck to see if he could jump me. As my luck always is all he had to jump with was one of those battery things and it wasn’t strong enough to jump me. So on to the tow truck my went and Sabrina, Mikaela and I crawled up into this huge big truck.

Finally we made it to the dealership and they worked with us to get us to Red Lobster for lunch. Of course we were a captive audience at Red Lobster we had no car and it’s raining. So 1 and ½ hours later we are stuck at Red Lobster and it’s pouring the rain…about this time the dealership calls and tells me a battery fixed the problem and they have my car running but that my serpentine belt is ready to break and they are a little afraid to let me drive it without changing it. (BTW, I did see the belt and it was in very bad shape; it was the original belt and my car is a 2002) By this time the rain has eased off so we walk over to Office Depot which is across the parking lot and wonder around the store till they call and tell us that they have it fixed.

By this time it’s 3:30 and we have made it to one store! We get back to the dealership switch out the car seat for about the 5 time and pay the almost $400 bill with labor and towing and the new battery and serpentine belt; and we are on our way!

Needless to say by this time I didn’t have energy to do much else. We ran on up to Babes R Us and picked up the new car seat, went to Sams for a few things we needed and headed home.

your car adventure sounds like mine last week, except thankfully...i didn't break down...just had to rake out the cash to get it fixed. Cars are a money sinkhole!! You've really been dabbling in digital...your layouts are really nice Jane! I hope you are doing well. Take care!
