God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.

Yeah! It’s a great day. I found $1333 that I’ve been chasing around my one program for 3 months trying to balance. Well today I finally found where it was at and got it fixed. Tomorrow morning my program should be totally in balance. The bad news is that my one program that was balanced is not out of balance because someone disbursed $900 in it while I was off. So I have to figure out who those students are and get them fixed.

But, all and all it’s only the middle of August and my programs are pretty much balanced and they don’t close till September. Can you tell I’m thrilled to death? This has been such a challenging year with 2 new programs and all the upstart and problems. I so hope that this coming year is much smoother.

Not much going on around home. We have had some unbelievable storms and major lightning. I thought I was going to get hit this morning. I put my umbrella down and dealt with the rain. It was coming down almost on top of me. We have had so much rain that the river is up and the ground is saturated. It’s all coming up the Appalachians from Tropical Storm Erin.

I’m painting my mom’s kitchen ceiling on Saturday and if everything goes right I’m going to drive up to Sabrina’s on Sunday to see Mikaela for an hour or so. I miss that little girl so much. I was looking at pictures last night and I can’t believe the change in her looks from the weekend she was born to last weekend.

I hope that I can go home tonight and play in my scrap room a little. I have been working on cleaning it up every night and it’s really starting to look much better. I could still use a little more storage for misc items but it’s coming together.

I have these giant chip board letters that I want to do a sign that says family and on the back side of it put pictures of all of the kids and their family. I would like to put it on my shelf at work. I may start playing with that tonight, I had planned on saving it to take to a crop with me but I really want to work on it. And I have this really cool paper that would look awesome. I’ve got to use double sided paper since the back side will show through on the letter negative part.

Well I better get this finished and get back to work. I’ve been working on this post since 7:00 when I came in. I hope everyone is having a great day.

Take care and God Bless,

Jane I saw on the Internet that there was some flooding in Ohio. Was hoping you were OK! Hope you get to go see your grandbaby as planned!
