God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.

Wow I can’t believe the difference a couple of days make. Last Friday it was in the 90’s here almost 100 and today it’s only 67 and got down in the low 50’s last night. Crazy Ohio weather the saying is: “If you don’t like the weather wait 10 minutes and it will change.” I sure believe it today, I actually had to wear a jacket this morning.

I got my hard drive last night and cleaned most of the pictures off of my lap top. I lost some pictures of Mikaela I had burnt them to a DVD and it was corrupted, I’m so sad. I’m just glad I had a lot of them uploaded to winkflash and Flickr. That way I can download them back into my computer. I have about 50 DVD’s to do through and get loaded into the hard drive. Then I’m going to make a back up of the hard drive.

I just looked at the calendar do you realize this month is almost ½ over already. I can’t believe how time has been flying lately. It’s not going to be long and we are going to be thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas. This will be our first Christmas with Mikaela I know she won’t understand it but boy will it be fun.

I hope to finish up Rachel’s pictures tonight. And, I have to make the spare bed tonight. I washed all the sheets, pillowcases, blankets the work last night. I wanted it all clean for when Sabrina and Mikaela come down next week. I also finished up all of my dress clothes, a load of towels. It was a pretty productive night.

I have a question for all of you out there with just one or two people in your family. Do you ever just wash the few dishes you have dirty by hand instead of running the dishwasher? It seems like it takes me a week or more to fill the dishwasher up, and I hate having it ½ full and sitting. So last night I just did the few dishes, it was so nice to have the kitchen all clean and nothing sitting waiting in the dishwasher.

I better get off of here…I’ll share a few more Rachel pictures after I work on them tonight. Everyone have a wonderful happy day!

Love to all

Jane

PS. I would appreciate some unspoken prayer requests for some friends of mine that their parents are going through some health issues.

Prayers going out to your friends & their family.

So sorry you lost some photos, at least you had back ups and learned your lesson quickly! I lost a huge chunk of dd's first year!

As for dishes, I grew up in a house that always had anywhere from 6 to 10 people living there. We would wash ALL of our dishes by hand even though we had a dishwasher. That habit still continues today even though I no longer live there.

Hi Jane!! Prayers for sure!

Regarding the dishes...i've just discovered that my children love to do them if they get allowance....so they've been doing them, but we don't use the dishwasher. We always do them by hand. I too like having a clean kitchen!

I'm sorry that you lost some photos, thankfully you are able to get them back.

Lately we have had the opposite with our dishes. It seems that I am running the dishwasher everyday.

Prayers going out for your friend's family.
